MAHSA University’s Master of Medical Sciences is designed primarily for students who can then expect to continue onto doctoral studies (Ph.D., M.D., or the equivalent). Graduates will be able to apply the knowledge gained to real life situations, develop social skills, critical thinking, emphasizing on an integrative and technological understanding of biological systems at all levels and prepares them for a career in research and teaching in the field of Medical and Health sciences.

Entry Requirement

  • Successful completion of a Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution accredited by the Faculty Postgraduate Academic Board and Senate with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
  • or a Bachelor’s Degree in the above fields with CGPA between 2.50 and 2.74 may be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment
  • or other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, as accepted by MAHSA University Senate
  • candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in the above fields with CGPA below 2.50 may be considered subject to at least five (5) years of relevant working experience or evidence of publication.
