Description

This specialisation assures training in research techniques and in the preparation of scholarly papers, and it culminates in the preparation and defence of a thesis based on original research. The student's programme of study is an initiation into methods of intense study and research in some selected area of anatomy.; The programme of study includes a comprehensive oral examination of the material presented in the core anatomy courses and a written scholarly project focusing on a contemporary issue falling under one of the various sub-disciplines of anatomy.The programme also includes the opportunity to learn fundamental laboratory techniques used in anatomical research and the chance to help teach in one or more of the department's graduate or undergraduate courses.

Entry Requirement

Successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, Life Sciences, Biomedical, or Health Sciences from a recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 3.00
or a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Science, or Pharmacy with a minimum CGPA of 3.00
or any other equivalent degree recognized by the postgraduate committee
candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field with a CGPA of 2.50 may be considered if they have at least three (3) years of relevant working experience.
