Description

The Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) is a three-year programme designed in consultation with a panel of experts and has been approved by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). The programme is designed uniquely with four different areas of specialization: i.e. Data Management, Game Computing, Mobile Computing and Network Computing. Students can choose their preferred specialization to develop the necessary knowledge and industry-specific technological skills.

Entry Requirement

  • Successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Science and Technology, or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.00, as accepted by the Senate
  • candidates with a CGPA between 2.50 and 2.99 may be considered subject to a rigorous internal assessment. Candidates without a Computing degree may be required to complete prerequisite modules in Computing to adequately prepare for advanced study. A Bachelor’s degree in a Non-Computing field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 may be considered subject to a rigorous assessment and completion of appropriate prerequisite courses equivalent to relevant working experience in Computing or related fields.

  • Other equivalent qualification equivalent Bachelor in computing or related field recognized approved by the Government of Malaysia for Bachelor's Degree of computing or related field minimum CGPA 3.00 as accepted by SENATE or Bachelor's Degree of Computing or related field minimum CGPA 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 3.00 can be accepted subject thorough rigorous assessment as determined by University
