Industry is now recognising the value of the discipline of architectural technology as Industry is now recognising the value of the discipline of architectural technology as critical in the digital age given its focus on empirically based digitalisation of design and construction through Building Information Modelling which relates to production, performance, environmental sustainability, economic efficiency and effectiveness. Now the Architectural Technologists has moved away from the role of “technician” to the role of “building specialist”, contributing to construction teams as specialist designers who have unique strengths in building performance, production and process.

Entry Requirement

  • Pass with minimum of 3 credits including Mathematics and a Pass in English and Drawing subject and (2) other subjects
  • Drawing test / portfolio needed if without pass in art subject at SPM level or without drawing subject at SPM level.

  • Pass with minimum of 3 credits including Mathematics and Drawing subject or (2) other subjects.

  • Certificate (Polytechnic)-Successful completion of a relevant Certificate programme (Polytechnic) with minimum CGPA 2.50, including a pass in Mathematics, a pass in English, and a pass in one other subject. Drawing test/portfolio required if no pass in Art or Drawing at SPM level.
  • Certificate (KKM)-Successful completion of a relevant Certificate programme (KKM) with minimum CGPA 2.75, including two Cs (including Mathematics) and a pass in English at SPM level.
  • Certificate/SKM III -Successful completion of a relevant Certificate/SKM Level 3 programme with minimum CGPA 2.50, including a C in SPM, a pass in Mathematics, and a Drawing test by MAHSA University.

  • For senior middle three (SM3) only, Minimum 3 credits (3Bs) including Mathematics and (2) other subjects.

  • Minimum average of 50% in six (6) subjects, including Drawing and English

  • Minimum average of 50% in five (5) subjects, including Drawing and English.

  • Other equivalent to SPM qualification as recognized by SENATE of University
