Description

The Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (Honours) with a Specialism in Forensic Accounting is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to identify, investigate, and examine evidence, including detecting financial statement misrepresentation, transaction reconstruction, tax evasion, and other improper accounting activities. The programme also develops the key competencies and knowledge required for today’s fast-moving business environment, offers maximum exemptions from professional bodies, and builds competence in preparing and analysing financial reports as well as guiding and leading organisations. From Level 1, emerging technologies in accounting and finance, along with essential soft skills, are integrated to prepare students for industry challenges.

Entry Requirement

  • Minimum 2 passes in STPM with Grade C+ (CGPA 2.33) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 passes (Grade A–D) in A-Level in any 2 subjects, and a credit in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 credits (5Bs) including Mathematics

  • Minimum CGPA of 2.5 in a Foundation programme, with a credit in Mathematics at SPM, O-Level, IGCSE, or equivalent.

  • Successful completion of a relevant Foundation (minimum CGPA of 2.5) with a Credit in Mathematics at SPM/ O-Level/ IGCSE or equivalent.

  • Diploma in Accounting- Successful completion of a relevant Diploma programme with minimum CGPA of 2.5 and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM/ O-Level/ IGCSE level
