The MSc International Marine Science (Online Distance Learning) from Heriot‑Watt University Online is a flexible and globally relevant postgraduate programme that equips learners with advanced scientific knowledge, analytical skills and practical insight needed to understand, manage and protect marine ecosystems in the context of pressing environmental challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss and sustainable resource use. Entry Requirement

  • Successful completion of a relevant Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2:2 honours (or equivalent) in engineering or a relevant science discipline
