Entry Requirement

  • Successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree (MQF Level 6) in Finance, Banking, or Insurance with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
  • or a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, or Insurance with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, where CGPA below 2.75 may be accepted subject to a rigorous internal assessment
  • or a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, or Insurance with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, where CGPA below 2.50 may be accepted subject to a minimum of five years relevant working experience and a rigorous internal assessment
  • or applicants without a related qualification or relevant working experience must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses as determined by the Senate and meet the minimum CGPA requirements stated above.

  • Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree recognised by the Malaysian Government
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in a related field approved by Assessment of Prior Experiential Learning, APEL
  • Non-degree holders (Malaysian) with at least a Diploma (Level 4 MQF) or Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysian (STPM) may obtain MQA Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) approval for programme admission. Candidates (without a statistics or mathematics background) are required to do the applied business statistics as a pre-requisite to enhance their appreciation and learning experience and outcome.
