Description

The Diploma in Early Childhood Education (DECE) at HELP University is a comprehensive full‑time programme designed to qualify and certify students as competent Educator‑Carers with the professional identity and practical skills needed to work effectively with young children, families and communities. It provides balanced preparation for careers in early childhood care and education through a combination of classroom learning, empirical‑based coursework and an 8‑week workplace practicum that develops strong social, psychological and developmental understanding of children, as well as creativity in areas such as arts, music and drama. The programme also equips students with entrepreneurial skills relevant to the early childhood industry, delivered by experienced local and international lecturers using a variety of teaching and learning methods in modern, well‑equipped facilities.
