| SPM/SPMV | A pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM/SPMV) with a minimum of credits in 3 subjects |

| O-Levels | A pass in O-Levels with a minimum of a Grade C in 3 subjects |
| SKM | A pass in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM), level 3 in a related field and a pass in SPM with a minimum of a credit in 1 subject |
| Certificate | A pass in Level 3, MQF Certificate in a related field with a minimum of a Grade C with CGPA 2.00 |
| STPM | A pass in (STPM) or equivalent with a minimum of a Grade C with GPA 2.00 in any subject |
| STAM | A Higher Certificate in STAM with a minimum Grade Maqbul |
| Other qualifications | Any other qualifications recognized by the University Senate or the Malaysian Government that can be benchmarked to a related field. |
